Happy Thanksgiving to All

Hi Runner's,
Today is Thanksgiving and I hope you all have a day packed with family, friends, food and love.
I also hope you get in a run and enjoy the freedom and stillness on the trails and roads wherever you might be today. Thanksgiving can be the best day of the year because it's an open ended holiday where all things are remembered and cherished from the past to the present.
I am heading out for a late morning run and will take the time to thank everyone in my life that has been so amazing. I hope you all get out and take a run, walk or nap in the outdoors- Whatever you do be the best you can be and give thanks everyday!
Keep your Bucket List growing and put a marathon on the top of your list!
Love and healthy running,
Helen

It Seems A Gigantic Statement For Even Nature To Make

Hi Runner's,
I ran the Grand Canyon this Saturday and believe that I have seen the most beautiful site in the world! The sun shone on the canyon with bright shades of gold and orange! 300 runners were given the most beautiful morning and we all knew we were experiencing a once in a lifetime run!
Nature won me over as we ran the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon! The scene of the Grand Canyon was breathless and awe inspiring! I never knew something could be so beautiful and overwhelming with the mix of emotions I felt when I saw this for the first time.
The first mile was a steady climb with the high elevation of 7,000 feet we were in for a challenge.
The course ran along the southern rim out 8 miles and back with the views taking your breath away along with the altitude and hills. The runners then raced through the forest with the memory of the canyon etched in their legs and mind!
"It seems a Gigantic Statement for even Nature to make" words from John Muir .. I can only heartily agree after running this marathon of a lifetime!
Take a look at your world Runners and find a race and place that will make you breathless, speechless and look at the world in a new light!
The marathon of your dreams awaits you & the thrill and unknown will challenge you!
What are you waiting for ...let's run!

Hi Runner's,
What does this saying mean? To me it means let's shake out the old excuses and constraints and open up a new world of goals this month. Why wait til the New Year when the now is here and the marathon awaits you! Take a look at your goals, current and future and say to yourself...
Out with the old and in with the New! Go ahead and pick a place you'd like to run your marathon and together we can work out the training and logistics on how to get you to the starting line.
The training and planning is the adventure and the next few months are perfect for sticking to your plan of making this happen, 26pt2 Bucket List -let's do it! The New is NOW!
